Impact on setting of AONB trumps land supply shortfall

The potentially adverse impact on the setting of the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB by a housing scheme of up to 140 dwellings, together with a small convenience store, was sufficient for an inspector to dismiss an appeal despite concluding that the council was unable to demonstrate an adequate supply of residential land.
