Gnosall Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Gnosall neighbourhood development plan was made part of Stafford Borough Council's local development framework on 24 November 2015.

Stafford Borough Council decided to make the Gnosall neighbourhood plan part of its local development framework on 24 November 2016. The plan will inform the development of the Parish up to 2031.

In a referendum on whether Stafford Borough Council should use the Gnosall neighbourhood plan there was a 92.6% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 22 October 2015 and had a turnout of 25%.

The Examiner's report on the Gnosall neighbourhood plan was issued to Stafford Borough Council in June 2015. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Gnosall Parish Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Stafford Borough Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 24 February 2015 and 8 April 2015.

Gnosall Parish Council had published its pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 10 December 2014 and 22 January 2015.

The application from Gnosall Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Stafford Borough Council in September 2013.
