Devonshire Park Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Devonshire Park neighbourhood development plan was made part of Wirral Council's local development framework on 14 December 2015.

Wirral Council decided to make the Devonshire Park neighbourhood plan part of its local development framework on 14 December 2015. The plan will inform the development of the area up to 2030.

The Devonshire Park neighbourhood plan had passed a referendum with a vote of 92% in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 22 October 2015 and had a turnout of 31%.

The Examiner's report on the Devonshire Park neighbourhood plan was issued to Wirral Council in May 2015. The Examiner had recommended that provided modifications to the plan were made the neighbourhood plan could proceed to a referendum.

Devonshire Park neighbourhood forum submitted their draft neigbourhood plan to Wirral Council on 14 November 2014. Wirral Council then publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 8 December 2014 and 6 February 2015.

Devonshire Park neighbourhood forum had published their pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 31 May 2013 and 26 July 2013.

The application from Devonshire Park neighbourhood forum to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Wirral Council on 30 April 2013. The application was submitted on 30 November 2012.
