Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority had published its first draft Local Plan for a consultation that took place between 16 June 2014 and 28 July 2014.
Another draft Local Plan had been published by Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority for a consultation that took place between August and September 2015.
An Inspector was appointed and examination hearings were held between 19 and 22 July. As a result of the hearings the Authority then published a schedule of modifications for a consultation that took place in October and November 2016.
The Inspector's report on the Yorkshire Dales National Park Local plan was issued to the Authority on 15 December 2016. The Examiner found that, provided modifications were made, the plan would provide a sound basis for the planning of the National Park.
