Pyrford Neighbourhood Development Plan - Referendum results published

The referendum result on the Pyrford neighbourhood development plan was published on 15 December 2016.

In a referendum on whether Woking Borough Council should use the Pyrford neighbourhood plan there was a 96.5% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 15 December and had a turnout of 37.6%.

The Examiner's report on the Pyrford neighbourhood plan was issued to Woking Borough Council on 8 August 2016. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Pyrford neighbourhood forum had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Woking Borough Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 4 April 2016 and 16 May 2016.

Pyrford neighbourhood forum had published their pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 12 May 2016 and 22 June 2016.

The application from Pyrford neighbourhood forum to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Woking Borough Council on 13 February 2014.
