Idridgehay & Alton and Ashleyhay Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Idridgehay & Alton and Ashleyhay neighbourhood development plan was made part of Amber Valley Borough Council's local development framework on 18 November 2015.

Amber Valley Borough Council decided to make the Idridgehay & Alton and Ashleyhay neighbourhood plan part of its local development framework on 18 November 2015. The plan will inform development in the Parish up to 2028.

In a referendum on whether Amber Valley Borough Council should use the Idridgehay & Alton and Ashleyhay neighbourhood plan there was a 92.4% vote in favour of making the plan. The referendum was held on 15 October 2015 and had a turnout of 31.0%.

The Examiner's report on the Idridgehay & Alton and Ashleyhay neighbourhood plan was issued to Amber Valley Borough Council on 5 June 2015. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Idridgehay & Alton and Ashleyhay Parish Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Amber Valley Borough Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 15 December 2014 and 9 February 2015.

Idridgehay & Alton and Ashleyhay Parish Council had published its pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 28 March 2014 and 9 May 2014.

The application from Idridgehay & Alton and Ashleyhay Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Amber Valley Borough Council on 23 May 2013.
