Hoylake Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Hoylake neighbourhood development plan was made part of Wirral Council's local development framework on 19 December 2016.

Wirral Council decided to make the Hoylake neighbourhood plan part of their local development framework on 19 December 2016. The plan will inform development in the Town up to 2020.

In a referendum on whether Wirral Council should use the Hoylake neighbourhood plan there was a 85.6% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 1 December 2016 and had a turnout of 21.4%.

The Examiner's report on the Hoylake neighbourhood plan was issued to Wirral Council on 27 April 2016. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Hoylake neighbourhood forum had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Wirral Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 9 November 2015 and 22 December 2015.

Hoylake neighbourhood forum had published their pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for previous round of consultation that took place between 26 January 2015 and 11 March 2015.

The application from Hoylake neighbourhood forum to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Wirral Council on 30 April 2013.
