Arley Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Arley neighbourhood development plan was made part of North Warwickshire Borough Council's local development framework on 7 December 2016.

North Warwickshire Borough Council decided to make the Arley neighbourhood plan part of its local development framework on 7 December 2016. The plan will inform development in the Parish up to 2030.

In a referendum on whether North Warwickshire Borough Council should use the Arley neighbourhood plan there was a 90.9% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 22 September 2016 and had a turnout of 27.9%

The Examiner's report on the Arley neighbourhood plan was issued to North Warwickshire Borough Council on 8 April 2016. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Arley Parish Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to North Warwickshire Borough Council in September 2015 who then publicised the plan for a consultation.

Arley Parish Council had published its pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 14 August 2015 and 28 September 2015.

The application from Arley Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by North Warwickshire Borough Council on 26 February 2014.
