Bloxham Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Bloxham neighbourhood development plan was made part of Cherwell District Council's local development framework on 19 December 2016.

Cherwell District Council decided to make the Bloxham neighbourhood plan part of its local development framework on 19 December 2016. The plan will inform development in the Parish up to 2031.

In a referendum on whether Cherwell District Council should use the Bloxham neighbourhood plan there was a 97.1% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 3 November 2016 and had a turnout of 32.4%.

The Examiner's report on the Bloxham neighbourhood plan was issued to Cherwell District Council on 7 July 2016. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Bloxham Parish Council had submitted its draft neighbourhood plan to Cherwell District Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 27 November 2015 and 22 January 2016.

Bloxham Parish Council had published its pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 10 January 2015 and 22 Februaruy 2015.

The application from Bloxham Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Cherwell District Council on 3 June 2013.
