Rotherwick Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Rotherwick neighbourhood development plan was made part of Hart District Council's local development framework on 15 December 2016.

Hart District Council have decided to make the Rotherwick neighbourhood plan part of their local development framework on 15 December 2016. The plan will inform development in the Parish up to 2032.

In a referendum on whether Hart District Council should use the Rotherwick neighbourhood plan there was a 92.8% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 3 November 2016 and had a turnout of 55.2%

The Examiner's report on the Rotherwick neighbourhood plan was issued to Hart District Council on 30 June 2016. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Rotherwick Parish Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Hart District Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 29 April 2016 and 10 June 2016.

Rotherwick Parish Council had published their pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 18 December 2015 and 31 January 2016.

The application from Rotherwick Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Hart District Council on 2 October 2014.
