Herefordshire District Council decided to make the Callow and Haywood Group neighbourhood plan part of its local development plan on 1 December 2016. The plan will inform development in the Parish up to 2031.
In a referendum on whether Herefordshire District Council should use the Callow and Haywood neighbourhood plan there was a 75.5% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 3 November 2016 and had a turnout of 27.5%.
The Examiner's report on the Callow and Haywood Group neighbourhood plan was issued to Herefordshire District Council on 16 May 2016. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.
Callow and Haywood Group Parish Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Hereford District Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 22 May 2016 and 3 July 2016.
Callow and Haywood Group Parish Council had published their pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 24 November 2014 and 19 January 2015.
The application from allow and Haywood Group Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Hereford District Council on 25 November 2013.
