Haywards Heath Neighbourhood Development Plan - Referendum results published

The referendum result on the Haywards Heath neighbourhood development plan was published on 1 December 2016.

In a referendum on whether Mid Sussex District Council should use the Haywards Heath neighbourhood plan there was a 90.5% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 1 December 2016.

The Examiner's report on the Haywards Heath neighbourhood plan was issued to Mid Sussex District Council on 26 August 2016. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Haywards Heath Town Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Mid Sussex District Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 10 March 2016 and 21 April 2016.

Haywards Heath Town Council had published its second pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a consultation that took place between 2 November 2015 and 20 December 2015.

Haywards Heath Town Council had published their first pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 30 January 2014 and 23 March 2014.

The application from Haywards Heath Town Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Mid Sussex District Council on 9 July 2012.
