In a referendum on whether Daventry District Council should use the Moulton neighbourhood plan there was a 90.9% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 1 December 2016 and had a turnout of 27.4%.
The Examiner's report on the Moulton neighbourhood plan was issued to Daventry District Council on 31 March 2016. The Examiner concluded that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.
Daventry District Council had publicised the submission draft Moulton neighbourhood plan for a consultation that ran between 1 September 2015 and 16 October 2015.
Moulton Parish Council had published their pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that was held between 16 January 2015 and 27 February 2015.
The application from Moulton Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Daventry District Council on 6 December 2012.
