Motorcycle riding in sand quarry harms great crested newts

The information supplied by an appellant in support of his plans to use a former sand quarry and landfill site in Kent for riding motorcycles up to 28 days a year was inadequate to enable an inspector to conclude that it would not have an adverse impact on a colony of great crested newts.
