Longworth Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Longworth neighbourhood development plan was made part of Vale of White Horse District Council's local development framework on 12 October 2016.

Vale of White Horse District Council deceided to make the Longworth neighbourhood plan part of its local development framework on 12 October 2016. the plan will inform planning decisions in the Parish up to 2031.

In a referendum on whether Vale of White Horse District Council should use the Longworth neighbourhood plan there was a 79.5% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 18 August 2016 and had a turnout of 39.6%.

The Examiner's report on the Longworth neighbourhood plan was issued to Vale of White Horse District Council on 31 May 2016. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Longworth Parish Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Vale of White Horse District Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 2 March 2016 and 13 April 2016.

Longworth Parish Council had published their pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 15 December 2015 and 28 January 2016.

The application from Longworth Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Vale of White Horse District Council on 13 December 2013.
