Quainton Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Quainton neighbourhood development plan was made part of Aylesbury Vale District Council's local development framework on 31 October 2016.

Aylesbury Vale District Council has decided to make the Quainton neighbourhood plan part of their local development framework on 31 October 2016. The plan will inform planning decisions in the Parish up to 2033.

In a referendum on whether Aylesbury Vale District Council should use the Quainton neighbourhood plan there was a 94.7% vote in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 14 July 2016 and had a turnout of 37.7%.

The Examiner's report on the Quainton neighbourhood plan was issued to Aylesbury Vale District Council on 16 March 2016. The Examiner found that provided modifications were made the Quainton neighbourhood plan could proceed to a referendum.

Quinton Parish Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Aylesbury Vale District Council who had publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 15 December 2015 and 9 February 2016.

Quainton Parish Council has published it pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that ran between 4 July 2015 and 14 August 2015.

The application from Quainton Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Aylesbury Vale District Council on 10 September 2012. The application was submitted on 5 May 2012.
