Javid finds in favour of 100-home scheme after earlier Pickles refusal

The communities secretary Sajid Javid has approved plans for 100 homes in Staffordshire, more than 18 months after former communities secretary Sir Eric Pickles' decision to block the application on the grounds that it would 'undermine' an emerging neighbourhood plan was quashed following a legal challenge.
