Housing land shortfall overrides adopted parish plans in latest Javid rulings

Communities secretary Sajid Javid has given the green light to two Cheshire schemes comprising a total of nearly 400 homes, after finding that the housing policies contained in recently-adopted neighbourhood plans had been rendered out of date due to the lack of a five-year housing land supply in the district.
