Neighbourhood Planning: Written statement

Brandon Lewis has issued a written statement extending by 6 months the period for consideration of the recovery of planning appeals for residential development over 10 units in areas where a qualifying body has submitted a neighbourhood plan proposal to the local planning authority or where a neighbourhood plan has been made.

On 9 July 2015 Mr Lewis extended for a period of 6 months the criteria for consideration of the recovery of planning appeals to include proposals for residential development over 10 units in areas where a qualifying body has submitted a neighbourhood plan proposal to the local planning authority or where a neighbourhood plan has been made. He is now extending that period for a further 6 months from 11th January 2016. The written statement can be viewed here.
