Ipswich Borough Council submitted its proposed submission draft Core Strategy and their pre-submission proposed modifications to the Secretary of State for examination on 14 December 2015. An Inspector will be appointed to examine the plan.
The pre-submission main modifications were available for consultation between 9 October 2015 and 23 November 2015. The proposed submission draft had been available for a previous round of consultation that took place between 12 December 2014 and 5 March 2014.
The Review Core Strategy will eventually replace the Ipswich Core Strategy that was adopted in December 2011.
Examination Update
An Inspector has been appointed and examination hearings were held between 28 June 2016 and 20 July 2016. After the examination hearings ended Ipswich Borough Council published its schedule of post-submission main modifications for a consultation that takes place between 20 October 2016 and 1 December 2016.
