Ringmer Neighbourhood Development Plan - Referendum results published

The referendum result on the Ringmer neighbourhood development plan was published on 13 November 2015.

The Ringmer neighbourhood plan has passed a referendum with a vote of 91.9% in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 12 November 2015 and had a turnout of 42%.

The Examiner's report issued to Lewes District Council in December 2014 had recommended that, provided modifications were made, the Ringmer neighbourhood plan could proceed to a referendum.

Ringmer Parish Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Lewes District Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 22 September 2014 and 3 November 2014.

Ringmer Parish Council had published their pre-submission draft neighbourhood plan for a previous round of consultation that took place between 6 September 2013 and 18 October 2013.

The application from Ringmer Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Lewes District Council on 1 October 2012.
