Bath and North East Somerset Council have decided to make the Clutton neighbourhood plan part of their local development framework on 4 November 2015. The plan will help to determine planning decisions in the village up to 2035.
The Clutton neighbourhood plan had passed a referendum with a vote of 95.8% in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 10 September 2015 and had a turnout of 30.9%.
The Examiner's report to Bath and North East Somerset Council was issued on 9 June 2015. The report had recommended that provided modifications were made the pla should proceed to a referendum.
Following the submission of the draft neighbourhood plan by Clutton Parish Council to Bath and North East Somerset Council a consultation was held between 6 March 2015 and 17 April 2015.
Clutton Parish Council had published their pre-submission draft plan for a previous round of consultation that was held between 8 December 2014 and 1 February 2015.
The application from Clutton Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Bath and North East Somerset Council on 27 August 2013.
