Freshford and Limpley Stoke Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Freshford and Limpley Stoke neighbourhood development plan has been made part of both Wiltshire Council and Bath and North East Somerset Council's local development frameworks.

The cross boundary neighbourhood plan for Freshford and Limpley Stoke was made part of Bath and North East Somerset Council's development plan on 9 November 2015 and then made part of Wiltshire Council's development plan on 10 November 2015.

In a referendum there was a vote of 74.4% in favour of using the Freshford and Limpley Stoke to help determine planning applications in the area. The referendum was held on 10 September 2015 and had a turnout of 50.1%.

The Examiner's report was issued to Wiltshire Council and Bath and North East Somerset Council on 30 January 2015. The Examiner had found that, provided modifications were made, the plan could proceed to a referendum.

Freshford and Limpley Stoke Parish Councils had submitted its draft neighbourhood development plan to Wiltshire Council and Bath and North East Somerset Council and has been published for public consultation between 27 October 2014 and 10 December 2014.

Freshford and Limpley Stoke Parish Councils had published their pre-submission draft plan for a previous round of consultation between 11 January 2014 and 22 February 2014.

The application from Freshford and Limpley Stoke Parish Councils to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Wiltshire Council and Bath and North East Somerset Council on 30 October 2013.
