Nuthurst Neighbourhood Development Plan - Plan adopted

The Nuthurst neighbourhood development plan was made part of Horsham District Council's local development framework on 22 October 2015.

Horsham District Council decided to formally "make" the Nuthurst neighbourhood plan at a meeting of their Full Council held on 21 October 2015. The plan has been made part of the local development framework with effect fron 22 October 2015.

The Nuthurst neighbourhood plan had passed a referendum held on 24 September 2015with a vote of 87% in favour of using the plan.

The Examiner's report issued to Horsham District Council in June 2015 had found that, provided modifications were made, the Nuthurst neighbourhood plan should proceed to a referendum.

Nuthurst Parish Council had submitted their draft neighbourhood plan to Horsham District Council who publicised the plan for a consultation that took place between 16 February 2015 and 30 March 2015.

Nuthurst Parish Council had published their pre-submision draft neighbourhood plan for a previous consultation that began on 7 November 2014 and ended on 19 December 2014.

The application from Nuthurst Parish Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan had been approved by Horsham District Council on 31 October 2013. The application was submitted on 7 July 2013.
