Ripley Neighbourhood Development Plan - Referendum results published

The referendum result on the Ripley neighbourhood development plan was published on 15 October 2015.

In a referendum held by Amber Valley Borough Council on the Ripley neighbourhood plan there was a vote of 89% in favour of using the plan. The referendum was held on 15 October 2015 and had a turnout of 21%.

The Examiner's report on the Ripley neighbourhood plan was issued to Amber Valley Borough Council in December 2015. The Examiner had found that provided modifications were made the Ripley neighbourhood plan could proceed to a referendum.

The draft neighbourhood plan was submitted by Ripley Town Council to Amber Valley Borough Council for its consideration on 18 July 2014. The plan was then made available for a consultation that was held between 10 September 2014 and 22 October 2014.

Before the plan was submitted a pre-submission draft charging schedule had been published by Ripley Town Council for consultation that ran between 4 February 2014 and 21 April 2014. 

The application from Ripley Town Council to be the designated body to produce the neighbourhood development plan was approved by Amber Valley Borough Council on 4 March 2013. The application was submitted on 18 January 2013.
