Appropriate design and high quality landscape support greenfield housing scheme

A development of up to 70 dwellings on the edge of a settlement in Cheshire won support from an inspector who held that notwithstanding an adequate supply of housing land, the site occupied a sustainable location and the design and landscaping would ensure that the character and appearance of the five-hectare greenfield site was not unduly harmed.
