Survey identifies busiest inquiry and court lawyers

Sasha White QC and Juan Lopez made the most planning inquiry and Planning Court appearances respectively last year, according to new data published in the annual Planning Law Survey.

Landmark Chambers’ White appeared at 25 planning inquiries or hearings last year, the figures reveal. He was one of around 40 barristers shown as making appearances in at least ten inquiries during 2014.

The figures indicate that Lopez, from Francis Taylor Building, made appearances in 19 Planning Court cases. Another nine barristers are listed as making at least ten appearances in the Planning Court.

Appearances information was supplied by 97 of the 119 barristers participating in this year’s survey. Figures for those citing high numbers of court and inquiry appearances were double-checked against chambers’ records prior to publication.
