Mixed success for equine stables, manege and tack rooms

In determining three appeals involving land in the Surrey green belt an inspector held that the construction of 40 loose boxes, six tack rooms and a concrete stable yard would fail to preserve the openness of the area. Two other appeals involving a reduced number of loose boxes and the change of use to equestrian use were appropriate and held to maintain the openness of the area.
