Suffolk Coastal District Council - CIL draft charging schedule submitted for examination

Suffolk Coastal District Council submitted its Community Infrastructure Levy draft charging schedule for examination on 5 December 2014.

Suffolk Coastal District Council submitted its CIL draft charging schedule for examination. The proposed charges have remained the same since the preliminary draft charging schedule.

Previous Progress

The preliminary draft charging schedule had been published by Suffolk Coastal District Council for a consultation that ran between 21 May 2014 and 2 July 2014. The preliminary draft proposed the same rates as put forward in the draft.

Suffolk Coastal District Council published its CIL draft charging schedule for a consultation that began on 6 October 2014 and ended on 17 November 2014.

Proposed rates include:

- Four residential charging zones with rates of £150 and £0 per m2, and two zones with varying rates of £70 and £115 per m2 for smaller developments and £50 and £90 per m2 for larger developments.

- Convenience retail developments will be chared £100 per m2.

- No charge for all other uses.
