Derbyshire Dales Local Plan - Plan Withdrawn

Derbyshire Dales District Council formally withdrew their Local Plan on 14 October 2014.

Derbyshire Dales District Council made the decision to formally withdraw their Local Plan at a meeting of thier Full Council on 2 October 2014. Notice of the widrawal of the plan was given on 14 October 2014.

The Derbyshire Dales pre-submission draft Local Plan was published for consultation between 13 June 2013 and 25 July 2013. The pre-submission draft was then submitted for examination on 13 May 2014.

An Inspector was then appointed and examination hearings were held 22 and 23 July 2014. Following these hearings the examiner wrote to Derbyshire Dales District Council on 29 July 2014 recommending that the plan be withdrawn. Then the plan was to be resubmitted once further work is completed regarding the Duty to Co-operate, housing figure projections and changes to Green belt boundaries.
