Of note to developers is a proposed developer endowment. This suggests that new green spaces which are planned as part of a new housing development, for example, should be required to include a long term funding plan which may include endowments part funded by developer contributions as part of the planning application.

Other measures include council rebates for residents who clean up their local parks, allotments and cemeteries, a park levy on properties within a certain distance of parks or urban green spaces, ecotherapy to improve physical and mental health and living legacies.
