Two more QCs switch to Landmark Chambers

Barristers Landmark Chambers has confirmed that two further planning silks have left rival practice 4-5 Gray's Inn Square to take up positions at the firm.

According to Landmark Chambers, Tim Corner QC joined the 73 member set with effect from 7 November with Philip Coppel QC following on. 

Corner and Coppel join Paul Brown QC and Lisa Busch who also recently left 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square.

Holly Gavaghan, Landmark Chambers director, said: "We’re delighted that barristers with the established reputations of Tim Corner QC, Philip Coppel QC, Paul Brown QC and Lisa Busch have chosen to join us. Their practices will strengthen and complement our planning and public law teams."

According to reports in industry title The Lawyer, 4-5 Gray’s Inn Square is preparing to merge with another firm, 39 Essex Street. The publication reported today that discussions were at an "advanced stage".
