Booking open for Sir Patrick Geddes Commemorative Lecture

The 2012 lecture will be given by Jan Gehl, founding partner of Gehl Architects in Copenhagen. The title of the talk is "Cities for People: Geddes' Legacy". For more than 40 years, Gehl has helped to transform urban environments around the world based on his research into the ways people use, or could use, the spaces in which they live and work. The lecture will take place on 7 September in the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. It is organised by RTPI Scotland, the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland and the Edinburgh Architectural Association and is supported by the Sir Patrick Geddes Memorial Trust and the Saltire Society.
