Debate launched on a map for England

Although there is a generally recognised and accepted need to ensure a joined-up approach to planning infrastructure and services, there is no one place where the relevant government maps can be viewed.

The institute believes that with a single map for England, policy-makers could make better judgements about how policy proposals interact with and affect development of the country as a whole. The RTPI's Map for England initiative calls for a debate on whether there should be such a map and, if so, how best it could be produced. We want your views.
