Cundall, one of the UK's leading multidisciplinary engineering practices, is celebrating becoming a Royal Town Planning Institute learning partner, a mark of excellence in learning and development practices. The firm is the 30th employer of planners to achieve this status.
The application process measured Cundall against four key best practice indicators designed to demonstrate its commitment to training and development for planning employees at all stages of their careers.
Ian Cansfield, the firm's planning director, said: "We already have the Investors in People accreditation, however, as our planning team has grown, we felt that having an RTPI stamp of approval would be a valuable addition to the list. We hope that this status will not only provide us with a way of demonstrating our quality to potential clients but will also be a valuable way of retaining and attracting staff."
Could your organisation become the next RTPI learning partner? The application process is straightforward and the RTPI's lifelong learning officer will be able to assist you during the process.
All learning partners are promoted on the institute's website and enjoy exclusive use of the RTPI learning partner logo, discounted entry to the RTPI Planning Convention and the opportunity to enter the RTPI Planning Awards in the Employer Award for Excellence in Learning and Development category.
Achieving learning partner status sends out a clear message to clients and employees that your organisation is dedicated to maintaining high professional standards.
