Mike Holliss, who was a partner at Roger Tym & Partners and head of its Manchester office for 22 years, has set up the consultancy with Hollie Vincent, who was a senior consultant at Roger Tym & Partners.

In a statement, Holliss said that the new practice would be called Holliss Vincent and will "provide specialist planning and development advice across all sectors and at all stages of the development planning process".

Holliss said: "Setting up my own practice is the culmination of an ambition to provide a more focused and efficient means of providing specialised advice on the planning process to public and private clients alike."

News of the establishment of the new consultancy follows Roger Tym & Partners’ announcement earlier this week that it has merged with planning consultancy Baker Associates and multi-disciplinary consultancy Peter Brett Associates.
