TEP works on Bury path

Ecologists from environmental consultancy TEP are helping Bury Council to complete the Kirklees Trail multi-user path.

Grassland, woodland and marshy habitats will be established in association with the route and both bat and bird boxes will be provided on the new bridge.

"The scheme will be beneficial for both local people and wildlife," said TEP ecologist David Sweeting. A new bridge is required at Woolfold, where a viaduct was demolished in the 1970s.
