JMP to carry out Stratford bus station study

Transport planners JMP have been commissioned by Warwickshire County Council to conduct an assessment on a new bus or coach station in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The study will also investigate the issue of bus stopping arrangements in the town centre.

The old bus station was located on the edge of the area and was closed as part of the changes to the public realm in the key tourist areas.

The county council has teamed up with Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Stratford-upon-Avon Town Council and other key local stakeholders including Stagecoach in Warwickshire and Johnsons Coaches to examine the options.
