Former flour mill complex could be redeveloped

A former flour mill complex could be redeveloped into 163 homes if developer Inner London Group gains permission from Rochford District Council.

It wants to turn the former Stambridge Mills site next to the River Roach into a new community within walking distance of Rochford's town centre.

The design by Stock Woolstencroft would see five mill buildings converted to homes and the whole site protected by a flood defence system devised with the Environment Agency.
