DCLG reveals annual housing supply in England falls

The DCLG has revealed that net annual housing supply in England fell by 23 per cent in 2009-10. In all there were 128,680 additional homes, down from 166,570 supplied in the previous year.

It is the lowest annual level of net housing supply since 2000-01. The North West saw the largest annual decrease at 38 per cent, followed by the South East with 32 per cent.
