Store assent extends games preparations

Indigo Planning has won permission for a 1,345m2 food store at the £30 million Castle Court scheme at Portland's Osprey Quay.

Weymouth and Portland Borough Council had resolved to grant permission for the Sutton Harbour Property & Regeneration plan and communities secretary Eric Pickles has decided not to call it in.

The approval marks the start of the next phase, which will include a Royal Yachting Association headquarters in the lead up to the 2012 Olympics.
