Manchester authorities develop transport plan

The Greater Manchester Integrated Transport Authority and the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities are developing their next local transport plan.

The proposals are up for public consultation and seek views on buses, rail, Metrolink, walking, cycling, tickets, information and highways.

The plan will set out a budget for the next four years as well as proposals for the next 15 years. The consultation finishes on 24 December. The final plan will be published at the end of March next year.
