Twelve months ago, house-building was booming and there were fears over its rapid pace. But now there is a concern about a lack of building. This conference is an opportunity to share concerns and aspirations for homes delivery. Speakers include David Lock associate director Patricia Willoughby and strategic policy consultant Kelvin MacDonald.

- Planning for Play - Delivering Child-Friendly Environments

3 December. RTPI South West. Oxstalls Campus, University of Gloucestershire, Gloucester.

This event will look at how play space can be provided in a way that is much more than playgrounds or formal space and how to engage effectively with children and young people in the planning process. Speakers include Play England South West development officer Steven Chown and CABE Space enabling adviser Elizabeth Hoehnke.
