- RTPI Cymru Annual Dinner

This year's annual dinner moves to the national museum in Cardiff's Edwardian Civic Centre. The speaker will be designer Wayne Hemingway, sponsored by Capita Symonds. The dinner is also sponsored by the Design Commission for Wales and Barton Willmore.

- Rural Planning Made Easy

The RTPI rural planning network is joining forces with the Rural Planning Facilitation Service in Preston for members to discuss the service, farm diversification and rural development projects in the North West, the different issues they face with and their relationship with local authorities.

- Multi-Area Agreements One Year On

Following last year's successful event on multi-area agreements (MAAs), this RTPI regeneration network meeting will feature DCLG head of MAAs Cathy Francis. The cross-boundary agreements bring together key players to tackle issues best handled at a regional and sub-regional level, such as skills deficits, housing market imbalances, transport links and other infrastructure projects. The event will look at the progress made so far and next steps in the development of MAAs.
