The RTPI wishes to recognise the diversity of planning achievement alongside its annual project awards, rewarding other facets of the planning profession through the Planning Consultancy of the Year Award, Young Planner of the Year Award and a new award this year for planning education.
The Young Planner of the Year Award is aimed at professional planners under the age of 35 and is intended to recognise the brightest in the profession. The Planning Consultancy of the Year Award is looking for exemplary practice that meets the requirements of clients and the wider community. It is anticipated that awards will also be made for Small Planning Consultancy and Planning Consultant of the Year. The new award for Excellence in Planning Education is divided into three categories - Award for Excellence in Planning Education, Student Award for Outstanding Achievement in Planning Education and Employer-Practitioner Award for Commitment to Lifelong Learning and Professional Development.
The closing date for the RTPI planning awards is 29 September. All entries can be made online at www.rtpiplanningawards.com or for more details, please telephone the awards office on 020 7929 9472.
