Nominations are requested in September for posts on the RTPI's general assembly and executive board and for the position of next year's junior vice-president.
The latter will become senior vice-president in 2010 and president for 2011. Ballots take place during November, with the results announced early in December.
Current president Janet O'Neill will be writing in a forthcoming RTPI News on what election has meant for her and why you should get involved. This year, candidates will be asked to provide a photograph to be put on the RTPI's website.
