Seminar reviews North West regional spatial strategy

Planners Peter Jennings and Sarah Williams presented a summary of the recent review of the North West spatial strategy before opening the topic for a lively debate about the appropriateness of revised housing targets for the region and the implications of the current economic downturn. The group concluded that although the strategy has high aspirations for housing growth, the reality may be somewhat different from the emerging policy.
