Ali Parsa of the University of Ulster and RTPI head of research Jenny Crawford were guests of the University of Hokkaido, Japan, at a seminar on governance for sustainability in March.
The seminar is one of a series organised in the run-up to the July meeting of the G8 leaders in Hokkaido. Seiichi Kagaya, who hosted the event, highlighted the region's commitment to sharing experience and research in sustainable infrastructure.
