Protestors fighting plans for an eco-town in Warwickshire are to stage a demonstration outside council offices on Monday afternoon.
A site at Middle Quinton near Long Marston in south Warwickshire is one of 15 locations shortlisted by the government for eco-town status.
But campaigners say there has not been sufficient consultation on the proposed 6,000 homes, and are set to lobby a meeting of all councillors at Stratford-on-Avon District Council.
Meanwhile, Arun District Council in West Sussex says it is considering a public inquiry into a planned eco-town at Ford near Littlehampton.
A full council meeting next week will discuss whether to set up a group of eight councillors and an independent planner to review proposals for 5,000 homes.
Elsewhere in Leicestershire, a campaign group is staging roadshows to protest against the Pennbury eco-town planned for a location near Stoughton.
