DCLG to alter frameworks

Councils whose local development frameworks (LDFs) are unsound will no longer need to restart the process, the DCLG has agreed.

Instead, local authorities will be able to return to an "appropriate stage". The idea is mooted in a consultation on reform to LDF regulations published alongside the Planning Reform Bill....
